Riding Through the Peaks and Troughs

We all face challenges in life. Some feel weightier than others, some are temporary and fleeting, and others might be for the long haul.

It’s so important to raise awareness of both the struggles and triumphs of the limb difference community.

People living with disabilities often confront challenges in society. Whether the struggles are emotional or physical, the best way we can create an inclusive world is to create awareness, educate, and really get the conversation going.

How we support people in mastering these challenges, rather than feeling defeated by them, could offer someone strength, resilience, and the courage to grow.

We All Play A Role

Limb loss and limb difference can affect all ages and backgrounds. How this might look from one person to another is entirely unique.

With this said, inclusivity matters more than ever. We often disregard the importance of 'seeing yourself' and downplay the lack of representation seen in the media. However, who we see and how we see them can significantly impact our emotional development and growth.

To help you, we have collected some resources below that offer representation of our differences accurately and responsibly. We hope you find them useful or that they simply spark some joy, as they have done for us.
